The design explores the balance between restraint and vitality. Monolithic dark marble textures establish a cold, structured backdrop, while the raw pottery and subtle greenery inject an understated organic warmth into the social space.

The brief was simple: make the walls do the work. The owner wanted a space that felt expensive — without the cost or the construction downtime that real stone would bring.

The answer was Oranturm MCM Black Marble — a 2.5–3 mm flexible stone panel that replicates the texture, depth, and veining of natural dark marble with a precision that stops people mid-step.

At 600×1200 mm, the panels allow for a single-installer setup; at the larger 1200×2400 mm format (weighing just 11 kg), a crew of two handles the entire job effortlessly. Within 72 hours post-installation, the space is fully cured and ready for immediate commercial operation.

Curves without compromise

At 2.5–3 mm, the panel flexes around curves that would shatter natural stone — columns, arched alcoves, curved bar fronts. No heat, no special tools required.

Cut on site, waste almost nothing

Utility knife, scissors, or angle grinder — all work. One person can cut panels to exact dimensions at the point of installation, including irregular shapes and outlet cutouts.

Zero formaldehyde. No heavy metals.

Fire Class A2, adhesive included

Panels bond directly to the wall. Grouting can begin 48 hours after installation. Once grouting cures — typically within 72 hours total — the space is ready to open. No curing delays, no odour, no downtime.
